Japan initiates anti-dumping investigation on import PET from China
According to market sources, Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has initiated an anti-dumping investigation on import PET from China to the country on petition file by local producers including Mitsui Chemicals, Mitsubishi Chemical and UNI PET.
The investigation starts on 30 September 2016 and would take up to one year to complete, but will not exceed 18 months period.
