Emergency shutdown at Thailand's SCG PP plant

According to sources closed to the company, SCG Chemicals Co Ltd has experienced unexpectedly shutdown at both homopolymer polypropylene (homo-PP) and copolymer polypropylene (copo-PP) units yesterday. It is unclear on the reason behind the shutdown and the sources declined to comment on how long the line would remain offline.

Located at Map Ta Phut, Thailand, there are 3 PP production plants with total annual capacity of 720,000 ton/year.
