Indian major announced local PP, PE, PVC prices

According to market sources, a major local producer in India has announced fresh offers for PP, PE and PVC to domestic buyers at mixed trend. In fact, the maker reportedly cut PP prices by INR1000/ton ($15/ton) and HDPE/LLDPE by INR2000/ton ($30/ton). Meanwhile, LDPE offers are up INR1000/ton ($15/ton) and PVC cargoes also added INR2000/ton ($30/ton) compared to last month.

A trader in the country informed, “PVC market is fully supported by the firming trend in the international ground and expected improved demand. However, comfortable supply for HDPE and LLDPE might keep prices under pressure in the near term.”
