International benchmarks for oil prices remained mostly stable on Tuesday (4 October) as market hold divided opinion regarding OPEC’s ability to cap production output. Experts are pointing to OPEC’s poor record in at enforcing quotas and that cutting production output is a self-defeat strategies. On the other hand, stronger US dollars have dented commodity prices to some extent.
