Additional hike reported on Thailand's PE cargoes to China

Market players reported to receive another $10/ton hike on Thailand’s PE cargoes today after the maker reportedly lifted offers in the previous trading day, marking a total increment of $30/ton on LLDPE film and $70/ton on LDPE film cargoes this week.

In the latest price opening, the producer maintains HDPE prices unchanged while LLDPE film at $1270/ton, LDPE film at $1300/ton and LDPE heavy duty at $1330/ton, all based on CFR China, LC AS term.  

A trader commented, “Our supplier decided to implement further hike on LLDPE and LDPE film cargoes due to satisfactory sales in the previous session. We think buyers would accept the new offers in the current supply condition, especially for LDPE film cargoes. HDPE on the other hand attract very little buying attention despite softer prices.”
