India's Reliance to shut PP plants for maintenance

According to market sources, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is planning to shut its No. 1 PP unit in mid of November for a 25-days scheduled turnaround.

Based in Jamnagar, India, the company has a 1.09 million ton/year No. 1 PP unit (for domestic market) and a 900,000 ton/year No. 2 PP unit (for export market). In addition, the No. 2 PP unit is expected to remain off-stream starting December 2016 for 10-15 days.
