Thailand's major announced March shipment PE offers to China

According to market players, one of the major makers in Thailand has announced new price for March shipment to China with slight increased of $5/t compared to last offers on beginning of February to reach $1110/t for HD Film, $1115/t for HD Yarn, $1130/t for LD Film and $1160/t for LD Heavy Duty, all on CFR China, L/C AS basis.

“Most of the major manufacturers with large volume have returned to the market, but due to their previous stock replenishing before holidays, they are not in rush to purchase cargoes while we are not seeing deals concluded at the moment,” a trader from Xiamen commented.

“We heard some deals concluded at $1120/t for HD Film cargoes arriving by end of February. Basically overall market sentiment is still slow these few days,” another trader from Guangzhou said.
