UPDATE: China's Hechuang achieved on-spec upstream cargoes

Market sources reported that Zhongtian Hechuang Co Ltd has managed to achieve on-spec ethylene and propylene from its new startup plant since last week (14 October 2016) and it is expected that its coal-based 300,000 tons/year LLDPE and one of its PP plant (Loop method, 350,000 tons/year) is going to start up by 20 October 2016, expected to achieve on-spec PP and LLDPE latest by next week.
Based in Erdos, Inner Mongolia, China, the company has another PP plant (Kettle method) with a production capacity of 350,000 tons/year is expected to startup by April-May 2017, while a 120,000 tons/year and a 250,000 tons/year LDPE unit are expected to be starting up by next year.
The plant is part of the largest coal based project which process 25 million tons/year of coal and produce 3.6 million tons/year of methanol, 1.37 million tons/year of olefins and other products.
