China's Hengli shuts PTA for maintenance
According to market sources, Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co Ltd has shut its No. 2 purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant for a scheduled turnaround since beginning of the week.
Based in Dalian, Northeast China, the PTA unit has a production capacity of 2.2 million tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 20-22 days.
