Malaysia to terminate antidumping duties on import PET from Thailand

According to a media release from Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry on 18 October 2016, the country decided to terminate antidumping duties imposed on imports of PET originating in or exported from Thailand with immediate effect.
In April 2016, Malaysia initiated antidumping investigation on import PET from Thailand based on the petition filed by local producers. The final decision is formed after six months of finding and prior to this, anti-dumping rate imposed on Thailand’s cargoes are as following:
