Saudi's LDPE film offer surged in Vietnam

According to market sources, a Saudi Arabia producer has lifted LDPE film offers to Vietnam as much as $80/ton compared to earlier this week, claiming limited supply due to healthy demand in China market. The producer’s current offer is reported at $1360/ton CFI Vietnam, LC AS term, shipment from Turkey.

A market source informed, “We think Vietnamese buyers are not ready to accept such hike. There are still other suppliers keeping their offers are more competitive levels. However, this might encourage domestic traders to increase prices as well.”

As reported earlier, Vietnamese traders are offering re-export LDPE film from various origins to China at the range $1290-1360/ton, CFR China, LC AS term.
