Thai major lifted PP prices to Indonesia; hold HDPE stable
According to market sources, a major Thailand producer has announced new weekly offers to Indonesia with $30-40/ton increased on PP cargoes while keeping HDPE prices unchanged from the previous opening.

Source from the producer informed, “We have secured some ethylene from spot market to producer some HDPE film quantity for regular customers, other than that, we are not having allocation on hand due to the scheduled maintenance shutdown. Market is rather quiet since players are monitoring further movement after the upstream costs plunged to multi months low. We plan to hold firm on our cargoes.”
