Unexpected shutdown at China's Hengli PTA plant

According to market sources, Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co Ltd has experienced an emergency shutdown at its PTA unit today due to compressor failure.

Located at Changxing Island Harbor Industrial Zone, Dalian city, Liaoning province, the No. 1 PTA unit is having a production capacity of 2.2 million ton/year. The restart schedule could not be ascertained.
