Emergency shutdown at India's HMEL PP plant

According to market sources, HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) has unexpectedly shut its PP unit since 14 November 2016 due to a technical glitch.
Based in Bhatinda, Punjab, India, the PP unit has a production capacity of 440,000 tons/year. It is expected to be resume by end of the month or early December 2016.
