Thai producer lifted PP price to Indonesia, maintain PE

According to market players, a major Thailand producer has lifted their PP offers to Indonesia market this week while maintaining PE prices unchanged from last week. In the latest adjustment, the producer implemented some $40/t hike for homo-PP injection and yarn to reach $980/t, $30/t increased for PP film to $1010/t and $20/t higher for PP block copolymer at $1040/t, all based on CIF Indonesia, LC AS term. The HDPE cargoes are open at $1150/t with the same term.

A local trader received new offer said, “Domestic market is currently facing some tightness for PP which encourage international suppliers to firm up their offers. We have also lifted our domestic offers recently though demand is not very buoyant.”
