Another Saudi major announced PP, PE prices to Southeast Asia

Another major Saudi Arabia producer has announced January delivery offers to Southeast Asia market today. The maker reportedly rollover PE prices from last month while lifting PP by $10/ton.

Latest prices stand at $1150/ton for HDPE film, $1210/ton for LLDPE film, $1060/ton for homo-PP, $1110/ton for PP block copolymer and $1080/ton for BOPP, all based on CIF Southeast Asia, LC AS term.

Source close to the company informed, “Customers might resist our PE prices, however, we will monitor further development before taking further action. We are not having much allocation for PE since our plant only partially restarted after the maintenance shutdown.”
