India's OPaL to start commercial output for PE

According to market sources, ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) is expected to start having commercial output from its new PE plants by March.

Located in Dahej Special Economic Zone, Gujarat, India, it has two HDPE/LLDPE swing plants with production capacity of 360,000 ton/year each, a 340,000 ton/year HDPE and a 340,000 ton/year PP unit.

The grades of LLDPE include film, coating, rotational molding, and injection molding, while HDPE grades include film, injection, blow molding, yarn/monofilament and pipe.
