China's Fujian unexpectedly shutdown PP and PE units

According to market sources, Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP) has unexpectedly shutdown its PP and PE unit due to a technical glitch occurred at its cracker yesterday.
Located in Fujian, China, the No. 1 PP line has a production capacity of 330,000 ton/year and the No. 2 PE line has a production capacity of 400,000 ton/year. These two units are expected to remain off-stream from 29 February 2016 until 4-5 March 2016.
The plant houses a 220,000 ton/year No.2 PP line and a 400,000 ton/year No. 1 PE line which are operating at normal rate, while another 120,000 ton/year PP unit are unable to reach on-spec materials after an technical issue took place at the extrusion machine last weekend.
