Korean maker lifted PS, ABS prices to Vietnam

According to market players, a major Korean producer has lifted their offers for PS and ABS to Vietnam by $40/t compared to last week on the back of limited supply and firming upstream costs. The producer latest offers are reported at $1190/t for GPPS and $1280/t for ABS, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A buyer received new offer said, “We have replenished sufficient material for other grades and now planning to buy some styrenics cargoes. Most of our suppliers claimed to have limited supply from which prices have increased drastically compared to last month, especially ABS grade. With the current styrene monomers costs, we expect PS and ABS prices might continue to firm up in the near term.”
