International benchmarks for oil prices took a break from a three consecutive days gains on Thursday (3 March) as market started to take into account the US crude oil inventories report released a day earlier. The US Department of Energy reported on Wednesday that the country's commercial stockpiles added a huge 10.4 million barrels last week. Regarding the meeting between major oil producers to discuss further on the agreement to freeze production output, many analysts remain skeptic that such agreement could be achieved in the near term.
