Major Middle Eastern maker implements further price hike on PE to China

Market players reported that one of the major Middle Eastern makers has lifted prices for their PE cargoes to China this week by $20/t compared to previous offers. The producer’s latest prices stand at $1110/t for LLDPE film, $1070/t for HDPE film and $1100/t for LDPE film, all on CFR China, LC 60 days term with the validity till 15th March 2016.

A buyer from Xiamen said, “Our supplier is having sufficient cargoes this round and we have placed our order for some quantity. Meanwhile, we are monitoring the market trend cautiously as prices are not increasing at the same pace.”
