Sinopec Shanghai resumed LDPE production after technical glitch

According to market sources, Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co Ltd has resumed its LDPE production at its PE2 unit today.

Based in Shanghai, China, the unit consists of two LDPE lines, each with a 100,000 ton/year of production capacity. The plant was forced to shutdown unexpectedly on 8 March 2016 due to a technical glitch.
