Shenhua Baotou to shut coal-based PE unit for turnaround
Market sources reported that Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co is planning to have maintenance shutdown at its coal-based PE plant on beginning of April.
Based in Inner Mongolia, China, the PE unit has a production capacity of 300,000 ton/year, which mainly produce coal-based LLDPE film and HDPE injection grades. It is expected to remain off-stream for 45 days.
