SK Advanced launched PDH plant, achieving on-spec propylene output

According to market sources, Korea's SK Advanced Co Ltd (JV Co), a joint venture between Advanced Petrochemical Company (APC) and SK Gas Co Ltd, has brought up-stream its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit and recently achieved on-spec propylene output.

Located at Ulsan, Korea, the PDH unit is able to produce 600,000 ton/year of propylene (C3).
