Taiwanese major announced new PVC price for April

A major Taiwanese producer has announced new PVC offers for April shipment with increases compared to last month. The producer implemented $30-40/t hike for China and Southeast Asia market and $50/t increased for India market to reach $800/t and $850-860/t respectively, all based on CIF, LC AS term. Export offer based on FOB Taiwan term is reported at $770/t.

An agent informed, "Our principal is supplying regular quantity for this month with $10/t discount for purchases of 1000 tons and above. With the support from global firming trend, we believed that the market would accept the new price levels especially when Indian market is still in peak seasonal demand.”
