Thai producer lifted HDPE offers to Vietnam

A major Thailand producer reportedly raised their offers for HDPE cargoes by $25-30/t compared to last week to Vietnam due to firming upstream costs and limited supply. The producer currently offers at $1195/t for HDPE yarn and $1185/t for HDPE film, injection and blow molding, all on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

Source from the producer said, “We have very limited supply, hence we are not planning to give any discount from initial offer. We think the market might continue journey north with the support of firmer upstream costs.”
