Further updates on Fujian's PP and PE emergency shutdown 

According to market sources, Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP) has just completed the inspection on 1 out of 11 crackers and the reason of the previous failure remained unclear. The shutdown duration therefore has been extended through 23 March 2016 (about 9 days shutdown). As a result, the company informed its customers that it would not be able to supply any cargoes within this month.

Located at Fujian, China, the company owns two PP lines with total capacity of 550,000 tons/year and two PE lines with total annual capacity of 800,000 tons/year.
