Emergency shutdown at Pucheng's MTO PP plant

According market sources, Pucheng Clean Energy Chemical Co Ltd has unexpected shutdown its coal-based PP unit last Saturday (19 March 2016) due to burnt out at one of the machinery motor parts.

Located at Shanxi, China, the plant has annual MTO PP capacity of 400,000 ton/year. The restart schedule is not confirmed yet, however the unit is expected to remain offline for at least 3-4 days.
