Thai major lifted PP, HDPE offers to Indonesia for six straight weeks

Market sources reported that a major Thailand producer has announced new prices to Indonesia this week with increases, marking the sixth consecutive week of price hike from the maker to this market.

The producer lifted offers for PP cargoes by $50/t compared to last week to reach $1110/t for homo-PP raffia and injection, $1130/t for PP film and $1170/t for PP block copolymer. Meanwhile, HDPE cargoes are up $40/t from the last offer at $1250/t, all based on CIF Indonesia, LC AS term.

Demand for homo-PP raffia in Indonesia remains healthy while limited supply has encouraged domestic sellers to lift local offers by additional $42/t today. Players are expecting further price hike in the near term.
