Major Saudi increased PE offers to Malaysia

A major Saudi producer has announced new PE prices to Malaysia today with $100/t increased for HDPE film to reach $1200/t and $110/t hike for LLDPE film to reach $1190/t, both on CIF Malaysia, LC at sight basis.

A Malaysia buyer commented, “Our supplier implemented such a large increase following the global firming trend. Supply for this month is regular and we plan to negotiate for some discount before close deal. Demand for our end product is normal at the moment."
