Singaporean LL move higher in China market

A major Singaporean producer reportedly lifted LLDPE film and mPE offers to China today claiming limited supply, according to players in this market. The producer latest offers for LLDPE film stand at $1220/t, some $70-100/t higher than the last offer at the beginning of March while mPE cargoes saw an increased of $90-130/t to $1400/t, all based on CFR China, LC AS term.

A Chinese trader commented, "Our supplier is having very small allocation and they are sticking to bundle pricing strategy. Demand for LLDPE film in China is relatively weaker than other grade as the agriculture season is coming to an end. Buyers are showing resistance toward the higher end offers, therefore, we are not confident to make purchase at this level."
