Major Southeast Asian maker announce PP, PE prices to SEA

Market sources reported that a major Southeast Asian producer has announced new PP and PE prices to regional buyers with increased compared to last month. The latest price list indicates some $100/t increased for PP and $80/t for LDPE. The detailed offers are shown in the following table:

A distributor said, “Our supplier is operating the PP unit at reduced rate at the moment and they are not interested in negotiating given a major maintenance shutdown scheduled this July, in which they need to keep stock. We received full allocation this month and so far our customer respond is positive.”
