China's FREP unexpectedly shutdown PP unit
According to market sources, Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP) has unexpectedly shut its No. 1 and No. 2 PP lines due to issues at the upstream propylene unit this morning.
Based in Fujian, China, FREP own two PP lines with production capacity of 330,000 ton ton/year and 220,000 ton/year respectively. The plant, however managed to resume production toward end of the day.
