Malaysia's Idemitsu to shut SM unit for maintenance

Market sources reported that Idemitsu SM (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is planning to shut its styrene monomer (SM) plant for a scheduled turnaround by mid of April 2016.

Based in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, the plant is able to produce 240,000 ton/year of SM. The unit is expected to remain offline for about one and a half month time.
