Major Qatari and Thailand maker lifted PE offers to China

Chinese marker players reportedly received fresh offers from a major Thailand producer with an increased of $5-10/ton for HDPE film to $1425-1430/ton, meanwhile stable offers for LDPE film at $1270/ton, both on a CFR China, LC at sight term.

In addition, a major maker from Qatar has lifted its LDPE film offers by $20/ton to $1200/ton, LC 60 days basis.

A trader commented, “Our suppliers claimed to have no inventory pressure due to continuous deals since previous offers, meanwhile these two days we are seeing more traders are looking for far shipment cargoes after realizing that market supply availability is very limited. Hence, we are expecting import offers shall hovering around high price level, especially with the support from strong currency as well.”
