Iran's AKPC to shut PE units for maintenance

According to market sources, Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company (AKPC) is planning to shut its PE units for scheduled turnaround in April 2016.

Based in Tehran, Iran, the company has 240,000 ton/year of LLDPE unit, 140,000 ton/year of HDPE unit and 300,000ton/year of LDPE unit. The units are expected to remain off-stream for 20 days.
