International benchmarks for oil prices edged higher on Thursday (31 March) as weaker US dollars cushion the market. The US dollars touched the lowest point not seen since Oct 2015 as the Federal Reserve talked about less aggressive path in lifting interest rates. Analysts are very much of pessimistic that this firming could last. In the supply side, survey report showed that output from the OPEC rose to 32.47 million barrels in March which could be a minus point especially when the cartel is discussing about measures to freeze production output, according to WSJ.
