Korea's Lotte to shut cracker for turnaround

According to market sources, Lotte Chemical Corporation is planning to shut its naphtha-fed steam cracker for a scheduled turnaround on 11 April 2016.

Based in Yeosu, Korea, the cracker has a production capacity of 1 million ton/year of ethylene and 480,000 ton/year of propylene. The cracker is expected to restart by 6 May 2016.
