PP unit to be shut by Indonesia's Polytama

Market sources reported that PT Polytama Propindo is planning a maintenance shutdown at its polypropylene (PP) unit from July-August 2016 following the scheduled turnaround  at its propylene (C3) monomer supplier plant.

Located in Balongan, West Java, Indonesia, the unit is able to produce 440,000 ton/year of PP. The plant is expected to remain off-stream for about 20-30 days.
