Indian major lifted homo-PP prices to Vietnam

A major Indian producer reportedly announced new homo-PP prices to Vietnam today at $50/t hike compare to last month to reach $1110/t CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

An agent offer on behalf of the producer commented, “Our principal is only able to allocate homo-PP injection cargoes to Vietnam this time, yet we find this offer is a little too high compared to market acceptance level. We are offering Middle East homo-PP at $40/t lower, yet buyers are not responding so well. We hope the market can sustain the firming trend with the support of higher propylene costs and energy values.”
