Major Taiwanese lifted May PVC prices to regional market

Market players reported that a major Taiwanese producer has announced new PVC prices to Asia market with $30/t hike compared to last month to reach $830/t to China and Southeast Asia and at $880-890/t to India, all based on CIF, LC AS term.

Players attributed these prices hike to a series of factor including healthy demand in India market, tight availability stemming from a number of plant shutdown and also firming upstream costs.
