Japan's Tosoh to shut VCM plant for maintenance

According to market sources, Tosoh Corporation is planning to shut its No. 1 vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) plant for a scheduled turnaround by 17 October 2018.
Based in Nanyo, Japan, the No. 1 VCM plant has a production capacity of 250,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream until early December 2018.
