Unexpected shutdown at Reliance's PVC plant

Market players reported that Reliance Industries Limited has unexpectedly shut its PVC unit due to water supply shortage issue.

Located at Ghandar, Dahej, Gujarat, India, the plant has an annual production capacity of 315,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for at least 7-10 days.
