Major Thai producer cut HDPE offers to Vietnam

A major Thailand producer opens new offers for HDPE cargoes at $10/t lower than last week to Vietnam due to comfortable supply and persistent weak buying interest. The producer’s current price level is reported at $1240/t CIF Vietnam, LC AS term for HDPE yarn, film, injection and blow molding grades. 

Source from the producer said, “Our HDPE supply is better now yet the availability of re-export cargoes and absence of demand is slowing down sales process. We are not confident about the market outlook, hence we would like to monitor buyer’s respond further before making further decision.”
