Brief emergency shutdown at China’s FREP PP, PE lines

According to market sources, Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP) has experienced unexpected shutdown at its PP, PE lines today due to shortage of ethylene supply.
Based in Fujian, China, the No. 2 PP and No. 2 PE lines are having production capacity of 220,000 tons/year and 450,000 tons/year respectively. Both plants are expected to remain off-stream for about 4-5 days.
