China’s Hanwha to expand VCM and PVC plant this year

According to market sources, Hanwha Chemical (Ningbo) Co Ltd is planning to expand the production capacity of its VCM and PVC unit by May 2019.

Based in Ningbo, China, the VCM and PVC plant has a production capacity of 300,000 tons/year each at the moment. Upon expansion, both plants are expected to have production capacity of 400,000 tons/year each. A source closed to the company informed that they are expecting to have commercial production by June this year.
