South Korea’s LG Chem to shut cracker for maintenace

Market sources reported that LG Chem is planning to shut its cracker for a scheduled turnaround by early March 2019.
Based in Daesan, South Korea, the cracker is having an ethylene production capacity of 940,000 tons/year and propylene of 450,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for a month.
