Japan's JX Nippon to shut cracker for maintenance

According to market sources, JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation is planning to shut its cracker by end of July 2016 for scheduled turnaround.
Based in Kawasaki, Japan, the cracker has a production capacity of 404,000 ton/year of ethylene and 260,000 ton/year of propylene. It is expected to remain off-stream for 60 days.
