Major S. Asian producer lifted PP and PE prices to regional market

Market players reported that a major Southeast Asian producer has announced PP and PE prices to regional market for May delivery cargoes with $60 and $50/t increased respectively.

The producer’s latest price are reported at the following table:

Commented on the producer’s new offers, an agent said “Our principal is not having sales pressure as they are trying to build up stock before the major maintenance shutdown in July. However, prices are rather competitive to give our customers room to deal with slower end product business.”
