Saudi’s PetroRabigh restarted troubled PP lines

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co (PetroRabigh) has restarted the No. 1 PP line in Jubail, Saudi Arabia earlier this month after a prolonged shutdown following a major mechanical failure in October 2018. The lines produce BOPP and homo-PP grades with annual capacity of 350,000 tons per annum.

Sources close to the producer said that that line is achieving regular production rate and offers for February shipment cargoes shall include the mentioned grades.

Meanwhile, the producer is carrying out routine maintenance works at its 300,000 tons/year HDPE line at the moment.
